ix_chat › try › demo
A finite state machine and a script. It knows a fixed set of topics, offers buttons rather than a blank box, and costs nothing to run — no model, no API key, no per-message bill. The right shape for triage, booking, and anything where the useful answers are known in advance.
The button is in the bottom-right corner. It is loaded by one script tag —
the same one /embed/demo gives you to paste,
hitting the same endpoint over the same cross-origin path a WordPress page
would use. Nothing on this page is a special case.
It opens by itself, because a scripted bot's first line is its menu and showing it costs nothing. Answer with the buttons or type the same words; both drive the same state machine. Only the newest turn's buttons stay live — an older one would send a word the machine has no transition for, and the bot would repeat itself for no visible reason.
